I am a novice at perspective drawing, so I am really starting from scratch. The instructor was nice and she checked on everyone. She helped me to see how to begin. I have a long way to go but it was a nice first day.

excellent but tried to use small picture examples made it difficult to see and understand. I was given the wrong name of the venue and went to Brentwood Library instead of Nashville public library making me 10 minutes late. I was frustrated to be so and yet by the end of the class I was glad i drove there and learned a new exciting use of my creativity. I?ve been drawing mandalas everyday since enjoying this process and learning that having the tools is important to this process.

The event was great and we got a break in weather for the morning! LeAndra was a great instructor, she provided several warm up techniques prior to sending us off to find our scene. While working on our drawing she made sure to spend time addressing questions and providing a different perspective on how to approach the drawing!

I thought this was so great! I was looking for a way to get into art and become a better painter by going into the basics in a fun relaxing low pressure way and this was it. Leandra was great to give instruction and encourage our creativity.

I thought I signed up for a watercolor class. While I don?t have interest in drawing, I learned a couple of things that can translate to other mediums. Our teacher was quite knowledgeable.

The impressionists sought to capture the moment, before the light changed. Color photography does exactly that. Modern impressionism would use photography to idealize the moment. I saw a young lady in the sunlight and captured it. Then I sought to idealize and simplify what I saw, in a painting.

My art "Authenticity"This piece represents my journey of transformation ? a journey of becoming the truest and most authentic version of myself. It is about releasing limiting beliefs, breaking free from old patterns, and leaving behind the masks I once wore to fit expectations and seek acceptance. The act of removing the mask symbolizes letting go of the false identities that no longer serve me and embracing who I truly am.At its heart, this artwork carries a powerful message: be aut

This is Marley, one of my loopy border collies. I managed to take the reference photo for this drawing in one of his quiet moments, while he was hugging his favourite toy and stopping his brother Bob from stealing it! It was a challenge drawing him on pastelmat as I'm not too experienced with it but quiete happy with how he came out! He's drawn in a mix of faber castel polychromos, caran d'ache luminance and some derwent drawing pencils.

Title or Location: Balnagask golf course
I loved this photograph from John Strachan photography and finally got around to painting it in acrylic. I tried to be quite loose with the painting as there was so much detail. in the end I thought the sky looked a bit bare so with the help of Chat GPT I added seagulls to the photo and was then able to paint them into my art work. This painting will be heading for the Aberdeen art show the end of August for sale.
