Title or Location: Bowl of Peaches
I've long been an artistic soul. Oil painting is my current passion along with collecting vintage frames and props for my art. I seem to be drawn to collecting and painting blue and white, chinoiserie style things, I suppose because they remind me of my childhood in Grandma's kitchen. Grandma always kept bowls of fruit on her table and it was such a joy painting a cheerful childhood memory.

Title or Location: Guardian Angel
This was a portrait made for my friend Elizabeth... As she describes it is a bond between a great grandma and her great grandbaby. Elizabeths mother in law passed away shortly after meeting her great granddaughter and she wanted something to represent that bond. The guardian angel is her mother in law holding her granddaughter and offering guidance and protection throughout her granddaughters life.

This little watercolor painting was inspired by me living in Arizona for 12yrs. I loved painting whatever I seen when I was in a special place. Just a peice of watercolor paper and my paints. I never knew what the outcome would be.

Title or Location: Sweet Rolo
I became friends with a lady from Manchester England on a YouTube coloring book site. She is such a sweet person. During the first few months of knowing her she lost her other dog and a friend of hers in England did a portrait for her. I asked her if she would like me to do this dog also, so she sent me a picture. She has a young daughter who has cerebral palsy and I just respect and adore how well she and her husband work with that situation and I wanted to do something for her

Title or Location: Fierce Compassion
I paint as a way to see and connect with the essence of others, including the people, creatures and the natural world. At our core, each of us houses a beauty that is both unique and completely interrelated to the world around us. This inner light is a song to be sung and to be shared. Fierce Compassion speaks to a commitment to recognizing this inner light that we share, even under the most difficult of circumstances.Megan Saunders is a Nashville-based artist. An experiment using soft pastels on stretched canvas. The texture of the canvas lent itself to the pastels quite well. The image is based on a photo taken by a friend visiting Venice, Italy. By using more vibrant colors than the original, I believe it became more magical.

Title or Location: New beginnings
I'm new to oils and painting, I would say my style would be fine art and surrealism, no rules and I can escape, experiment and have fun. I painted this scene as I'd came across a beautiful photo of calla Lilly valley in California, I use the idea but made it my ownwith the colours and changed parts of it, I like the perspective and the enchanting mysterious vibe it gave. Returned to art almost a year ago, still finding my way, but determined, excited and fully motivated to reach my potential,

Title or Location: The Boats at Sunset in Bradenton
I was at The Starfish Restaurant when I captured this view on a cold day in Bradenton Florida from the dock behind the restaurant. I was fascinated by the light coming from one of the boats and the gas pump. The photograph helped me to produce this oil painting when I got home in Ohio.
